# Nocturnal Hunts

### Overview

Nocturnal Hunts (or simply "Hunts") are this season's core activity, replacing Scouting from the previous season. Engage in thrilling quests to collect essential crafting materials necessary for rituals, unlocking further progression in the game.

### Accessing Hunts

Players can initiate hunts from multiple bases:

* **Vamp Base**
* **Derp Base (Season 2)**
* **Pred Base (Season 2)**

### Hunt Mechanics

**Selecting Region & Difficulty**

Choose your hunt region based on the desired difficulty and specific material needs. Higher difficulties provide better rewards but require stronger characters.

**Hunt Duration**

Hunts offer flexible durations:

* Short 4H (quick rewards)
* Medium 12H (balanced)
* Long 24H (maximized rewards)

Selecting longer hunts yields more crafting materials and greater potential loot, allowing you to tailor your gameplay based on your schedule and desired rewards.
